Space to grow and flourish

Crosfields Nursery occupies its own defined area on the Crosfields campus, providing a hub for activities in our own building. The facilities here are custom designed, to enable us to deliver sessions for 3 to 4-year-olds, which are specially designed for their programme of learning.

We have plenty of outdoor space to play and explore creativity.

Fun and discovery are fueled by regular snack times and lunches, where we provide a variety of healthy options, all included in the fees.

Our nursery is open from 08:30-15:15 during term time. For those needing additional wrap-around care there is also the option of breakfast club (from 07:45) and after school care (until 17:50) at an additional charge.

Discovering talents and exploring possibilities

We are a Forest School – children enjoy regular Forest School sessions, connecting with nature and making the most of our 40-acre site, dedicated outdoor classrooms, pond and woodland habitats.

The French Teacher is a regular visitor to the Nursery, delivering fun and interactive sessions, aided by puppets, helping children to develop language skills at this formative stage.

And if that doesn’t tire your little one out there’s music, drama, dance, swimming and games…. with specialist teachers all included as part of the tuition fee.

Venturing out – trips are arranged to explore our local community and broaden horizons!

Part of a wider community

Although they enjoy our home in the Nursery, we are also an integral part of Crosfields School and are able to take part in a full range of sports and other activities, taking advantage of the exceptional facilities.

They swim weekly in the 25m pool (where the floor can be raised, so little people can feel confident and stay safe).

Become a part of something special

When can children join Crosfields School?

Children can join our Nursery the September before they turn 4, this gives them plenty of time to settle into school life before starting our Reception classes. We understand that the first adventure away from home can be daunting for some children, and we are here to work with you to help them settle in. We can offer flexibility in the number of sessions your child attends with with up to 15 hours support of the governments Early Years Funding scheme.
